WHAT WE BELIEVE

• The entire Scripture, both Old and New Testament are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. All the Christian teachings and the Christian attitude of the Children of God are such as are established in the Holy Bible –( 2 Tim. 3:10-17; 2 Peter 1:21);

• There is only one God, God Almighty, who is the creator of all things. both visible and invisible creatures (Deuteronomy 6:4, Colossians 1:16)

• God is eternal and self-existing in three persons — Heavenly Father, the Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit—who are to be equally loved, worshipped, and honoured. (Genesis 1:26-27, 1 Peter1:2)

• We believe man was created in the image of God but through Adam’s transgression, sin was brought to the world resulting to the fallen state of mankind(Genesis 1:27)

• We believe God sent His son, Jesus Christ—born of the virgin Mary—to live a sinless and exemplary life and to ultimately sacrifice His life on the cross in exchange for our sins. (Matthew 1:18, 1 John 4:19, Romans 3:25)

• We believe Christ rose from the dead to prove His victory and empower us for life. (Luke 24:1-8) and Christ is the way, the truth and the life; that He is the only one who can restore our relationship with God. (John 14:6)

• Salvation is a gift from God to man and can only be found through Jesus Christ. We are saved by grace through faith, not by our own good deeds but through Jesus’ righteousness and shed blood on the cross. (Ephesians 2:8-10)

• The Holy Spirit lives in us from the moment we receive salvation and the Holy Spirit provides Christians with the power for living, spiritual wisdom, and guidance in doing what is right. (2 Corinthians 3:17, John 16: 7-13)

• Water Baptism by immersion, in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost is for those that are saved, It is an outward sign, of a true repentance of a sinner from his or her sins. (Acts 2:38; Acts 22: Matt. 28:19)

• We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire, a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit himself gives utterances. (Matt. 3:11; John 14:16-17; Acts 1:8; 2:38-39; 19:1-7; 2:4)

•  God gives all believers spiritual gifts. They are for the strengthening of God's people (the Church) and proof of God's existence and power to unbelievers. The gifts of the Spirit are active and relevant today.(1 Corinthians 12:4-11; 1 Peter 4:10)

•  We believe in sanctification, it is written without holiness no man can see the Lord Heb 12:14. We believe in the doctrine of sanctification as a definite, yet progressive work of grace, commencing at the time of regeneration and continuing until the consummation of salvation at Christ return. (Heb.12:14; 1Thess. 5:23; 2 Pet. 3:18; 2 Cor. 3:18; Phil 3:12-14:1 Cor. 1:30)

• The Church is composed of all those who are born-again. Through this new birth, we are united together in the body of Christ. Jesus Christ is the Lord and Head of the Church. Every Church has the right under Christ to decide and govern its own affairs. (Eph.4:15-16).

• God is love and God loves all people and desires to use the people of God to reach out to those who are oppressed, marginalized and underprivileged and to heal the brokenhearted. (Psalm 68:5,6; 1 John 4:16, Matthew 25:31-46)

•  We believe in divine healing. Healing is provided for in the atonement of Christ and is a privilege of every member of the church today, Healing includes physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing (James 5:14, 15: Mk16:18; Isa. 53:4, 5; Matt. 8:17; 1 Pet.2:24)

• Miracles, signs and wonders were wrought many times in the bible, especially by the early church and it's still tenable today through the power of God Almighty embedded in the mysteries of the word of God. (Acts14:1-10, Luke 5:17)

•  We believe God has individually equipped us to serve a special role in His Kingdom-come plan and that we are to fulfill it through a life of worship and honour to God. (2 Timothy 1:89, Matthew 28:19, Romans 12:1-2)

• We believe that the power of God Almighty prevails. According to the bible the power of God is discovered as infinite, it is undefeatable,  reigning now and for eternity (Matthew 28:18, Psalms 66:3)

• We believe in the resurrection of the just and the return of the Lord Jesus to consummate history and the eternal plan of God (Acts 1:11,1 Thess 4:16-17 Rev 20:6, John 14:3)

• There is eternal damnation in Hell, a place of suffering in a lake of fire, for anyone who physically dies in their sins without accepting Jesus Christ as Lord over their life, and eternal life in great joy and pleasures in the presence of God Almighty for every saint of God who believes in Christ Jesus and made Jesus Lord of their lives (Heb. 9:27; Rev.19:20)
