Seven times a day, David tells us he gives thanks/praises to God in Psalm 119:164; Why? Because of the righteous judgments of God Almighty, which literally are the right counsels of God regarding your life found in the Bible, the word of God. This can include the provision for healing, deliverance, prosperity, dominion, fruitfulness, victory and many more phenomenal promises of God written in the word of God to believers in the faith of Jesus Christ.
Small wonder God Almighty called David a man after God's heart. His consistent lifestyle of praise and thanks to God made him an exceptional king who was impossible to conquer. More so, when you give thanks and praises to God, the Bible teaches that God can satisfy you with your heart's desires Heb 10:35-36, 1Thess 5:18, inhabit your praises Psalm 22:3, strengthen you Prov 17:22, bless you Psalm 67:5-7, execute judgment for you Psalm 149:6-9, and wrought many other wonders on your behalf Exo 15:11
Peradventure you are after God's heart, you can choose today to also develop a dedicated lifestyle of praise/thanksgiving to God for God's righteous judgments available in the bible for your benefit. Mention to God the specific blessings via God's righteous judgements in God's word that minister to you in one way or the other, and thank God for them seven times a day Psalm 119:62; learn to be diligent in your thanks/praise to God and in a couple of months observe what has changed in your life for the better to the glory of God Almighty.
Do not yield to fear, for I am always near. Never turn your gaze from me, for I am your faithful God. I will infuse you with my strength and help you in every situation. I will hold you firmly with my victorious right hand. All who rage against you will be ashamed and disgraced. All who contend with you will perish and disappear. You will look for your enemies in vain; those who war against you will vanish without a trace! I am Yahweh, your mighty God! I grip your right hand and won’t let you go! I whisper to you: ‘Don’t be afraid; I am here to help you!’
Isaiah 41:10-13
Our minds are powerful tools we can use to determine the outcomes of our lives; that's why it is so essential to think the right thoughts. The Bible from Joshua 1:8, reveals and instructs that YOU will MAKE your way PROSPEROUS and have good SUCCESS by consistently speaking, thinking, and doing the Word of God (the book of the law). Still, it's also critical to note that it is not just thinking the Word of God, but THINKING the WORD OF GOD at the right time, DAY and NIGHT.
So what scriptures do you think about day and night?
Perhaps you don't think of scriptures too often or you never do, here are a few tips to get you started
You can start by studying the Bible, the Word of God, and memorizing the scriptures that speak to you directly and write them out somewhere
Take out time 5-10 mins (to start with) to deliberately think about them during the day and the night.
Set reminders and ensure to do it every day
May God help and empower you
For as he thinketh within himself, so is he Proverbs 23:7a ASV
Finally, believers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable and worthy of respect, whatever is right and confirmed by God’s word, whatever is pure and wholesome, whatever is lovely and brings peace, whatever is admirable and of good repute; if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think continually on these things [center your mind on them, and implant them in your heart] Philippians 4:8 AMP
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth, but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have success Joshus 1:8 KJV
You must know that the precious Blood of Jesus for every believer in Christ Jesus not only reconciles us to God Almighty and gives us access to diverse blessings but it can yet do numerous phenomenal works for us when exploited biblically. From purging our conscience to making us perfect, to justifying us, and many more.
Having, therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus Hebrews 10:19 KJV
How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Hebrews 9:14 KJV
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to who be glory forever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21 KJV
However we must engage the efficacy of the Blood of Jesus over our lives continually to experience its life-changing effect, and you can do this by
1. Pleading the Blood of Jesus, you declare with your mouth a covering over you and all that concerns you with the Blood of Jesus and you utter boldly the pleading of the Blood of Jesus to speak over you mercy, redemption, justification and all that you know the Blood of Jesus avails to all believers in the faith. Revelations 12:11, Colossians 1:13-14, Revelation 5:12, Zechariah 9:11-12
2. Taking communion (i.e emblems representation of the Body and Blood of Jesus) We are encouraged to take communion often, however, you must take it with sincerity of heart and purpose, the communion has the potency to not just neutralize the workings of the enemy within us through the life of Jesus, but also helps to enhance our walk with God. John 6:47-58,1 Corinthians 11:17-34
3. Blood of Jesus Sprinking, the blood of sprinkling is acknowledged in scriptures to engender the speaking of better things in our lives compared to any other blood. However, you must speak out the written word like Moses did over the blood emblem (it can be a diluted communion blood or water or any liquid emblem) then sprinkle the Blood of Jesus according to your understanding of the power the Blood of Jesus embeds on yourself, place and any aspect of your life you want Jesus to speak the better. Hebrews 9:19-28, Hebrews 12:24
Please note that the underlying factor in appropriating all three 3 approaches is your faith, for it is written, it shall be unto thee according to thy faith, Matthew 9:29, Matthew 21:21, therefore believe in your heart by faith the written Word of God about the Blood of Jesus as you make use of this precious Blood of Christ Jesus by faith.
(Please ensure to read the bible scriptures for each approach for more context)
God bless!
You will discover in the Bible people who turned circumstances and situations to their favour by their fiery and powerful faith declarations. We all know that the just shall live by faith according to Hebrews 10:38, that is, everyone that has come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour is to live by faith.
But, what is more interesting about faith, is the ability of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the devil, according to Eph 6:16, which was clearly manifest in the people of the Bible stated below. They each demonstrated their faith through faith talk, an expression of a command of faith powered by in-depth knowledge and understanding of the capacity of God, the Lord God Almighty, to null and void the enemies' counsel and change the terrible game of life in their favour.
It's time you engage your faith, by using your confidence and boldness in God Almighty gained through the continued studying and hearing of God's Word to speak faith talk that must change the game of your life to your incredible favour.
Here are some faith talks below (please ensure to read the full chapter for more context)
1. DAVID: 1 Samuel 17:46-47 KJV
This day will the LORD deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcases of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD's, and he will give you into our hands.
2. ELIJAH: 1 Kings 18:24 KJV
and call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.
3. SHADRACH, MESHACH, ABED-NEGO: Daniel 3:16-18 KJV
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.
4. ESTHER: Esther 4:16 KJV
Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.
5. JOSHUA AND CALEB: Numbers 14:7-9 KJV
and they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land. If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.
At the beginning of the year, I heard several things about the new year while I was praying to God for other things. I wrote them down and I thought to share them in the mid-year season, praying it's an incredible blessing to you even in your mid-year journey of life.
PART A: ABUNDANT BLESSINGS1. He will bless them that fear the Lord , both small and great. The Lord shall increase you more and more, you and your children. Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth. Psalm 115:13-15 KJVYes! He will bless his devoted lovers who bow before him,no matter who they are. God himself will fill you with more. Blessings upon blessings will be heaped upon you and upon your children from the maker of heaven and earth, the very God who made you! (Other translation)PART B: GOD WILL AVENGE2. For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come. Isaiah 63:4 KJVI decided that the time to save my people had come; it was time to punish their enemies. (Other translation)3. To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord , and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; Isaiah 61:2 KJVHe has sent me to proclaim That the time has come When the Lord will save his people And defeat their enemies. He has sent me to comfort all who mourn,(Other translation)4. To me belongeth vengeance, and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. Deuteronomy 32:35 KJVI will take revenge; I will pay them back. In due time their feet will slip. Their day of disaster will arrive, and their destiny will overtake them. (Other translation)5. For it is the day of the Lord's vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion. Isaiah 34:8 KJVThis will happen because the Lord has chosen a time for punishment. He has chosen a year when people must pay for the wrong they did to Zion.(Other translation)6. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. Isaiah 35:3-4 KJVPeople are afraid and confused. Say to them, “Be strong! Don’t be afraid!” Look, your God will come and punish your enemies. He will come and give you your reward. He will save you.(Other translation)PART C : BOUNTIFUL RESTORATION7. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed. Joel 2:25-26 KJVI’ll make up for the years of the locust, the great locust devastation—Locusts savage, locusts deadly, fierce locusts, locusts of doom,That greatl locust invasionI sent your way. You’ll eat your fill of good food. You’ll be full of praises to your God, The God who has set you back on your heels in wonder. Never again will my people be despised. You’ll know without question that I’m in the thick of life with Israel,That I’m your God, yes, your God,the one and only real God. Never again will my people be despised.(Other translation)8. But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; He shall give all the substance of his house. Prov 6:31 KJVBut if he’s caught, he still has to pay back what he stole sevenfold; his punishment and fine will cost him greatly. (Other translation)Everything on earth has a purpose. If you take a look at the objects around you, no matter how big or small, you will observe every object performs a distinct function. How much more humans, created intricately by God who doesn’t waste resources? It should prove to us that our existence is beyond just being, but everyone is here on earth to fulfil a definite purpose preordained by our creator, God Almighty.
It’s so imperative to allow your uniqueness and giftings play a definite role in the world. To discover your purpose take some time to seek God’s face in prayers, enquiring your purpose be revealed to you. Sometimes, God will speak audibly to some concerning their purpose or show them vividly through visions or dreams, however, it is not in all cases and it shouldn't incapacitate you if it doesn’t happen to you. Nevertheless, you must learn to explore other ways to find your true purpose, for instance, you can take a thorough inventory of yourself and consider your innate gifts, what comes naturally or easy for you, your gained knowledge, talents, developed skills, hobbies, education, and you will discover the amazing potential in you leading to the fulfilment of your purpose.
Perhaps you want to confirm if you are truly walking in purpose, don’t just look only at financial gains, but watch also for peace, unusual strength, impact, unending joy, and the lives of those genuinely blessed as a result of something big or little you did, these are a few signs to watch out for when walking in true purpose. It is also essential to note that everyone doesn’t have to be in the spotlight to fulfil their purpose, some people’s purpose might be non-visible, while others can be quite visible, some might be paid generously, while others might not, but that doesn’t make one less important than the other. However, always remember that everyone greatly matters and what is important is making a definite positive impact in fulfilling your God-ordained purpose.
May you discover your God-ordained purpose and run well with it.
A Christmas story is never complete without mention of the wise men, who came from the east, to honour the birth of Jesus, Matthew 2:1-12. Although emphasis is often made on the kinds of gifts the wise men brought to Jesus, it is also important to recognize what distinguished them as “the wise men” instead of just “men”, what attributes did they have that made them suitable to bear the popular name “the wise men”. In exploring this, let us consider a couple of things they did that characterized them as wise.
1. Shared the good news: They were happy to share about Jesus with everyone without any reservations. As Christians today, we mustn’t hold back our faith and endeavour to share the good news about Jesus with others so they can be saved from eternal damnation to receive a new life in Christ Jesus. John 15:16.
2. Divine direction: They took heed to divine direction through a star, small wonder that Jesus is our bright and morning star according to the scriptures. As Christians today you must know that Jesus has sent the Holy Spirit to dwell in us to guide us into all truth, so we know the right path to go in life, therefore, learn to ask the Holy Spirit for guidance in all things always. John 16:13.
3. Worshipers: They were genuine worshippers, they didn’t just want to see Jesus they also wanted to worship Jesus. As Christians today it is critical that we don’t just focus on knowing Jesus but must ensure we are continual worshippers of Jesus even as the word of God admonishes. Psalm 34:1
4. Generosity: They gave gifts to Jesus out of their treasures, such as gold, frankincense and myrrh which were significantly valuable in those days. As Christians today, generosity to God and others should be a regular lifestyle and never forget it is written in the scriptures it is more blessed to give than to receive. Acts 20:35
5. Discernment: They had strong discernment from God Almighty such that they knew when Jesus was born and also through a dream God informed them not to go back to Herod who wanted to kill Jesus and they returned through another way. As Christians today spending time with God through diligent study of the Bible can help build a discernment from God Almighty to know the times and seasons . 2 Tim 2:15
Even though different people have developed different perspectives on the subject of giving, we must learn to glean directly from what the bible says and it says "It is more blessed to give than to receive", this is a perspective on giving from God's word found in Acts 20:35 that should supersede all other opinions. It is critical to know that when you give the foundation must be rooted in love, if you love people you will give to help people, if you love God you will give towards the expansion of God's kingdom and the like. Remember, It was out of love God gave us Jesus for the propitiation of our sins so we can receive eternal salvation, therefore giving shouldn't be such a strange lifestyle to adopt into your life as a child of God.
Giving is an instruction from the bible, it isn't man's idealogy, therefore ensure not to ignore the enormous blessings tied to this vital action, however, you must learn to give appropriately. Give to those that have blessed you spiritually it is biblical 1 Cor 9:11-14, give to those that are in need 1 John 3:17, pay your tithes Mal 3:10, give to kingdom-building activities Haggi 1:8, and charities Prov 28:27. It is written, give and it shall be given unto you pressed down shaken together and running over shall men give unto your bosom, therefore every giver certainly must be blessed. Give willingly according to what you have not what you dont have because that is what matters to God, giving from your heart. Also, give cheerfully for God loves a cheerful giver, and let your giving be established in faith unto God Almighty, for it is written the just shall live by his/her faith.
Notwithstanding, when you give by faith don't just expect financial returns but returns that money can't buy, because by faith the blessings that come back to you from God has the potential to manifest in diverse forms, it can come as a healing, a promotion, a new house, favour, restoration and much more. Please don't be blindsided by the opinions of people concerning giving but learn to give by love in faith and be sure to receive God's overflowing blessings into your life even as you are a blessing in Jesus Christ's name. Amen.
God bless you.

Evangelism is proclaiming the Gospel – the good news about Jesus Christ which is God’s power to save all who believe it and turn from sin to follow him. Shortly Before Jesus ascended to the Heavenly Father after His resurrection from the dead, Jesus gave His disciples an important instruction which is popularly referred to as the great commission, to "GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS", according to Matthew 28:18-20. It is essential that every believer plays their part in the realisation of this great commission and a good place to start is by praying. Please pray the following prayers for evangelism (soul-winning) below;
Prayers for Soul Winning
1. Pray for a powerful and great influx of souls to the kingdom of God.
Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Psalm 2:8
2. Pray the Lord of the harvest to send labourers into His harvest which will result in a massive increase of souls into the kingdom of God.

Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Favour is an act of kindness beyond what is due or usual, It can be described as something done out of goodwill, generosity, or mercy. When a person encounters favour, it is sure they have encountered unmerited help that oftentimes beats their imaginations or expectations. We all need favour especially from God to help us experience life’s goodness and blessings with great ease and delight. As a child of God Almighty through Jesus Christ, no matter who you are, know that you qualify to walk and live in God’s favour all the days of your life and you must never think God’s favour is for an exclusive preserve in the body of Christ. Although favour can last a lifetime, however, you must know it's not a one-time blessing that just sticks to one's life forever but favour in the life of a person has the potential to grow provided one keeps doing what is necessary and required to aid it increase in their life.
There are a number of ways to grow in God's favour however will be considering a few.
(1) Win souls: Share the gospel with others that do not know him and let the king of Glory’s favour be made manifest towards you.
The king's favour is toward a wise servant: but his wrath is against him that causeth shame Prov 14:35
The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he that winneth souls is wise. Prov 11:30
(2) Diligently seek good: Seek good diligently from a biblical perspective by thanking and praising God Psalm 92:1, helping the poor Mark 14:7, and being faithful with the work of your hands Prov 22:29.
He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him. Prov 11:30
(3) Be righteous: After one receives righteousness from Christ Jesus, the one who does right is considered to be righteous, therefore learn to stay clear of actions that displease God to encounter God's favour.
Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favour. Prov 14:9
Little children, let no one deceive you. Everyone who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 1 John3:7
(4) Seek understanding from God's word: Learn to diligently study the bible to discover the wisdom and understanding required to live a blessed and fulfilling life.
Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard. Prov 13:15
For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD. Prov 8:35
(5) Be good to others: Your acts of kindness and generosity to others can draw God's favour into your life.
A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn. Prov 12:2
And don’t forget to do good and to share what you have with others, because sacrifices like these are very pleasing to God. Heb 13:16
In the bible days, the favour of God was discovered to do several great and awesome things in the lives of God's people. For instance, With favour, you are preferred and chosen amongst many, in the case of Mary the mother of Jesus who was blessed and highly favoured to birth Jesus, Luke 1:30-31, Because of God’s favour, you are saved from your enemies and you possess your possessions like the Israelites did in the times of old in the wilderness. Psalm 44:3, You are made a leader amongst many, just like Joseph was appointed overseer while he lived in Potiphar’s house after his brother’s sold him as a slave. Gen 39:4,5,22, You accumulate wealth like the Israelites did during their exodus from Egypt having been slaves for over 400 years. Ex 12:26.
Please take intentional steps to grow in the favour of God from today and be richly blessed even as you do.
