Knowing Jesus

You must know that God loves you so much no matter who you are, where you are, or what you have done, and God wants you to experience this amazing love that transcends into spending eternity with God in heaven, however, there’s something that separates us from God’s love, and it’s called Sin; an act of disobedience towards God Almighty. 

You might say you do a lot of good works and sin only occasionally, but the Bible says our righteousness is like filthy rags before God, and all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. It also says the wages of sin is death, which is eternal death in hell-fire, a place no one wants to be for a moment, let alone for eternity. 

But there’s good news, God cannot stand that we perish in hell, so God Almighty did something amazing for all mankind. For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son Jesus, that whosoever will believe in Jesus will not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus came to the earth, died for our sins, and rose the third day so we can have life instead of death. 

To receive this life Jesus came to give humanity that results in a continuous flow of God’s love and blessings in your life, leading up to eternity with God Almighty, you must deliberately turn away from sin and accept Jesus Christ as Lord, and this is done when you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, and you can call on the Lord right now through this simple prayer below.

Let’s pray

Heavenly Father I come before you today and I confess all my sins, I ask that you forgive me, I believe Jesus died and rose again so I can have eternal life. Right now, I accept Jesus as Lord over my life, I believe my sins are forgiven, I am free from the power of sin and I am now born again. Thank you Lord for forgiving me, thank you Lord for saving me in Jesus Christ name. 

Amen.
